Kōkako’s latest Fairtrade Organic coffee comes from CODECH, a collective of ten farmers based in Huehuetenango, Guatemala. Founded in 1998, CODECH was created by local farmers who wanted better opportunities for their community and a more sustainable way to grow coffee.
Today, CODECH focuses on education, equality, and independence. Their goal is to help farmers improve both yields and livelihoods while protecting the environment and growing the community for future generations.
Grown in the highlands of Huehuetenango, where the altitude and climate create exceptional growing conditions, this coffee is balanced and sweet with notes
of green apple, hazelnut, and milk chocolate.
