This coffee shares many similarities with Yirgacheffe and Sidamo. Limu coffee is known for having a fuller body though. Limu lies within the Jimma Zone in the western highlands of Oromia. These areas are famous for their forests and abundant supply of water. Most farms within the Limu region come from semi-forest systems that are typically under 1 hectare in size. Farmers will handpick these cherries and deliver them to nearby washing stations to be processed.
