Alzheimers NZ

This festive season, Ozone is celebrating The Joy of Gifting by supporting Alzheimers NZ, a New Zealand charity dedicated to improving the lives of people living with dementia and their families. Through movement, community connection, and awareness, Alzheimers NZ helps promote wellbeing and understanding across Aotearoa.

With every purchase you make, they're donating 50¢ for a 200g pack and $1 for a 1kg pack to Alzheimers NZ, helping to fund vital programs that support those affected and raise awareness about the importance of staying active - both for body and mind.

Your gift this year doesn’t just bring joy to loved ones, it also helps create a more caring, connected community for people living with dementia across New Zealand. Thank you for joining us in sharing The Joy of Gifting this festive season.

Tasting Notes

Expect a super sweet cup of strawberry jam! There's red cherries on the finish and aftertaste, as well as a very delicate sultana note.

Farm Info

Finca El Limon is one of three farms from the San Patricio Estate, owned and operated by Guadalupe Alberto ‘Beto’ Reyes and the Reyes family.

We have worked with the Reyes family for five years now. A loyal relationship and friendship has developed, during which the farms have gone from strength to strength in infrastructure and coffee quality over this time. The family are always looking to innovate in the pursuit of flavour and quality – values intrinsically shared by us.

The farm is located in the Palencia region which isn't part of the eight regions of coffee as defined by Anacafé (the National Association of Coffee in Guatemala), but you can see a lot of development in the zone, and El Limon is a perfect example of that development.

El Limon is eighteen hectares in size and sits at an altitude between 1,350–1,850 meters above sea level. The farm mainly produces Caturra and Bourbon but has also recently started growing SL28, H1, H3, Maracaturra, Maragogype, Geisha, Pacamaras, Caturras and Catuaí (yellow and red). In addition, around 8 water reservoirs have been built around the entire farm in order to preserve this vital liquid and help ensure the sustainability of the farm.

This coffee won the Guatemalan Cup of Excellence a few years ago and you'll easily be able to tell why! A fantastic example of natural processing and the Bourbon variety.
