Coffee Brew Guide: Aeropress

The Aeropress is a portable coffee brewing device that delivers a flavourful cup of coffee wherever you are. Perfect for home, the office, or out on your next adventure.

Developed in 2005 by Aerobie president, Alan Alder, when he became frustrated with the lack of simplicity and control in traditional coffee brewing methods. He found that existing methods often resulted in bitter and over-extracted coffee. Inspired by the principles of pressure and immersion brewing, Adler set out to create a device that would allow coffee lovers to make a delicious cup with ease.

The Aeropress Coffee Maker was later introduced to the world, where it quickly gained popularity among coffee enthusiasts. It combines elements of a French press and an espresso machine but is compact, portable and affordable. There are now Aeropress coffee competitions, and an enthusiastic community of users who shared brewing techniques and recipes.
